Independent regulator the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has recently found the quality of care provided by Madeley Practice to be Outstanding following a routine inspection.
The partners at the practice said “We are thrilled to have achieved an outstanding rating. It is down to all the hard work and dedication of all our staff and in particular our practice manager, Julie Lawton, who is retiring after 30 years of dedication to the NHS.”
Dr Alison Bradley, Chair of NHS North Staffordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, added: “We are extremely proud of all of the staff at Madeley Practice for achieving this result – an improvement from the ‘Good’ rating which they received in 2017. It is testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone at the practice to ensure that patients receive safe, accessible and high quality health services.”
All England’s GP practices are given a rating according to whether they are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. All reports are published on the CQC’s website www.cqc.org.uk.
