A North Staffordshire GP practice that was once in special measures has now been rated as Good for all aspects of its service to patients by health watchdogs.
The latest report on Talke Clinical in Talke Pits has now been published by the Care Quality Commission. It follows an inspection earlier this month.
The Overall Rating of Good means that the clinic is rated as Good for being Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led. The services provided to all patient groups including older patients, those with long-term conditions and patients experiencing poor mental health are also rated as Good.
Talke Clinic Senior Partner, Dr Paul Unyolo said: “We are grateful to all our patients and staff for all the support they provide.
“I would also like to acknowledge the tireless encouragement that our Patients Participation Group gives. We are also grateful to both North Staffordshire CCG and NHS England for their continuing support.”
The clinic had been placed in special measures in 2015 and has been supported to return to its’ current rating of Good.
The newly published inspection report can be found on the CQC website.
