In September and October 2019 Staffordshire County Council spoke with lots of people living with autism as well as their families and carers about what was important to them and what they want to achieve – we refer to this as ‘outcomes’. Following this engagement, Staffordshire County Council has worked alongside Staffordshire Clinical Commissioning Groups to jointly produce a plan of actions to deliver these outcomes.
It is really important that people with lived experience of autism help us to deliver these outcomes to make sure they have a voice and that we are doing the right things for them. To support that, we would now like to set up an ‘Implementation’ group to deliver the outcomes in the plan together.
We are, unfortunately, only able to include a small number of people on the group so please let us know by Friday 20 November 2020
Please also let us know how you would like to be included in the group, for example as a parent or carer, representative of a relevant organisation, or as a person with autism. We would also like to have people on the group from different areas of the county so could you also please let us know which area you live in.
