Time is running out to book your place for this year’s NHS CCG Annual General Meeting

People are being reminded that time is running out to join in this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) being held jointly by Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent’s NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.

The AGM takes place on Thursday September 24 at 2pm. It is being held virtually on Microsoft Teams. Members of the public are invited to attend, but anyone who wants to do so needs to register their interest by completing an online survey no later than 11.59pm on Wednesday September 23. Anyone who registers will be sent details of how to join the webinar and how to submit questions.

The meeting will reflect on key achievements in the last year and sharing priorities for the coming year.

Marcus Warnes, the Accountable Officer for the six CCGs said: “The CCGs normally hold separate AGMs, but there is a consensus that under current circumstances there should be one meeting, to give us an opportunity to talk about our shared experiences.

“We need to factor our previous aspirations and our learning from COVID-19 into how we plan for the future.”

The six CCGs have now published their latest Annual Reports (links below). These are a detailed look back at performance in the last 12 months, and include forewords from the Accountable Officer and the Chairs of each CCG.

The CCG Forward View has also been published by the CCGs. This is a simpler, four-page document setting out priorities and performance, making use of engaging graphics wherever possible.

Anyone who wants to ask a question at the AGM is encouraged to submit them in advance. It will also be possible to ask questions during the meeting that will be answered before the conclusion. A recording of the meeting will also be published online.
