AGM goes online as NHS clinical commissioners come together to share achievements and ambitions

Commissioners from across the NHS in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent will come together to discuss the challenges of the last year virtually.

They will share an Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the afternoon of Thursday September 24. The meeting will take the form of a live webinar on Microsoft Teams and members of the public are invited to take part.

The meeting will reflect on key achievements in the last year and sharing priorities for the coming year.

Marcus Warnes, the Accountable Officer for the CCGs said: “The CCGs normally hold separate AGMs, but there is a consensus that under current circumstances there should be one to give us an opportunity to talk about our shared experiences.

“We need to factor our previous aspirations and our learning from COVID into how we plan for the future.”

Anyone who is interested in attending the meeting is asked to register an interest by completing an online survey no later than 11.59pm on Wednesday September 23. Anyone who registers will be sent details of how to join the webinar and how to submit questions.

Questions can be submitted in advance. It will also be possible to ask questions during the meeting that will be answered before the conclusion. A recording of the meeting will also be published online.

The AGM will begin at 2pm on Thursday September 24 and last until 4pm.
