Hanley Primary Care Access Hub Survey
The CCGs have been finding out what patients think about GP access services at the Hanley Primary Care Access Hub, which enables patients to see a GP if they are unable to see a GP at the surgery where they are registered. The service underwent changes during 2017 and the CCG wants to gauge patient opinion of using the services.
The Hub was previously known as Hanley Health and Wellbeing Centre but changed identity when the North Staffs GP Federation took over service delivery in July last year. If assessed as appropriate, patients can see a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner from 8am-8pm seven days per week, 365 days a year. Prior to the changes in July, patients were guaranteed access to a Nurse Practitioner appointment, not a GP.
To help us gather views, a survey took place between 24 January and 25 February 2018.
The results from the survey are currently being analysed and a summary report will be available here within the next month.
